Happy Birthday Grace Baptist!!!
Today as we celebrate nine years of ministry, we have much to praise God for in both what He has done and for how He has revealed Himself to us. I stand in awe in at how He has worked in and through us to minister the gospel to our community and around the world.
We have updated our facilities, built a new education building, started dozens of new ministries, seen hundreds come to know Jesus as Savior, have baptized over 200, and began a new campus this fall. We have seen God use us to strengthen a church in Belize, minister the gospel in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Spain, and Liberia, and minister to those affected by the tsunami in the Philippines. God has reached children, students, young adults, families, and senior adults through our ministry – Praise be to God!!!
But, not only has God worked through us, but He also revealed Himself to us. He has been our Provider and it is a blessing to be debt free on our Northwest Campus. He has been our Miracle Worker as we have prayed and seen God bring healing, provision, and spiritual life to those we have brought before Him. He has been our Salvation and we have had the opportunity to praise Him for the many transformed lives as we have witnessed His live saving power. He has been our Comforter as we have grieved the loss of some dear saints, our Helper as He has grown us in maturity and victory, and our Father has we have been taken in His arms and loved with an everlasting love.
Today is not about Grace Baptist Church, it is about Jesus and His bride. It is about celebrating Jesus and praising Him that through His grace alone we have been able to contribute to building God’s glorious kingdom. As we celebrate our birthday, may all our praise and glory go to our Savior, our Lord, our Friend, and our King – Jesus Christ! Praise God for what He has done and what He will do as we continue to Love God, Love Others and Reach The World for the name of Jesus!
